Summary:
In my upcoming talk on “Thrombectomy vs Thrombolysis”, I’ll explore the latest advancements in pharmaco-mechanical (PMT) and catheter-directed thrombolysis (CDT) for cases of acute limb ischemia (ALI) but even visceral embolization. Comparing those two techniques, I’ll highlight their effectiveness, particular PMT’s potential for rapid revascularization and CDT’s unique advantages. By examining new insights and techniques in both approaches, we aim to refine the management stategies, improve patient outcomes, and guide future research directions.
